With years of experience painting custom homes, we can revitalize your living space with the power of paint. It is important to find the correct color schemes to set the mood you want to live with and to enhance natural attributes of your house. Certain colors can enhance natural sunlight, or you can harness warm colors to set the mood in a comfortable space. We can help assist in this process!
Certain areas of you home require different products. Hallways and frequently traveled areas can implement a paint with some gloss to protect its durability. Typically, we would suggest an eggshell, satin or glossier finish inside a kitchen or bathroom; to provide protection against water and oils. Ceilings are typically a flat sheen. Trim is usually semi-gloss or gloss; and typically, white, but not necessary. Walls can be flat, eggshell or satin. Typically, a glossy sheen will reveal imperfections in your walls; particularly when sunlight hits the wall during certain times of the days. We can discuss the different applications throughout your home.
Interior Preparation Prior to Paint - Repairs on Drywall and Trim - Water Damage Treatment
Because we guarantee a superior product, we believe 100% in proper wall and trim surface preparation. This means that holes in walls will be filled (big or small). Surfaces sanded. Rotten or damaged trim can be replaced prior to paint. Any surfaces with water/smoke damage will be properly prepared. Preparation is the most fundamental and important aspect to providing quality products.
Exterior Preparation and Pressure Washing
Just like the interior, the exterior of the home is even more important to have proper preparation if you want to increase the longevity of your coating system. Depending on the severity of the exterior substrate, we can utilize power washing or mechanical/hand sanding; in some cases, both. This ensures proper coating adhesion and long-lasting protection.
In addition, any rotten wood or vinyl trim can be replaced prior to the painting process. We are cross trained tradesman who have the ability to replace any trim or siding.
Exterior Coatings
We use superior products for our exterior coatings, whether it be solid base stains, paints, or UV and weatherproofing coatings. Depending on the condition of the substrate, our recommendations and cost estimates are determined on two (2) applications of the coatings. Certain areas may require more depending on sun exposure and proximity to salt-water.
